Subheadline: Join the heavy metal revolution that started in New Hampshire
Wondering how Royal Racket got its start? Back in 2013, groove metal band Royal Racket self-released their debut album "Man’s Ruin" in New Hampshire. Inspiration for the album came from the band members’ favorite bands, including Pantera and Lamb of God. Although the album featured a low-fi production caused by limited studio time, the record served as a striking introduction to the fist-in-face band. Their sharp-taloned songs dug in and never let go.
Shortly after the release of their first album, Royal Racket started gaining traction and played at many local venues. Then the band moved on to entering numerous competitions to land dates at major festivals such as Mayhem Fest, Summer Slaughter and New England Metal & Hardcore Festival.
After successfully landing all of the dates they competed for, their overwhelming domination disqualified them from future competitions. It didn’t take long for Royal Racket to move from an unknown local act to a universally respected band on the national scene.
In October 2017, Royal Racket delivered again with their newest album, "Volition." The original high-impact songs on this album were a quantum leap forward from their debut. Even the album title, "Volition," is symbolic of their drive to push through the adversities they faced during the production process.
To kick off the album cycle, Royal Racket embarked on a full U.S. tour with the Convalescence. Throughout this cycle “Volition” was picked up by many well-known press outlets, including Metal Insider, BraveWords and Adrenaline PR. Since then, Royal Racket has been featured in numerous magazines such as Decibel Magazine, Tattoo Magazine and Tattoo’d Lifestyle.
With hundreds of successful dates including numerous national tours, the band has gained many passionate fans across the globe. Most notably, Royal Racket recently completed multiple tours in Japan in support of Ne Obliviscaris and Wolfheart in 2019 and Cattle Decapitation and Revocation in 2020.
